The first blog post explains the purpose of this site.
I am an old IT Manager (typically called a CTO in the current IT climate).
I am one of the ultimate geeks. I can talk tech until your ears bleed!

I started at the bottom, was coding as a kid in the 1970s. Worked in operations, learnt how to code in 14+ languages while managing Mainframes at an educational institution. I enjoyed the advent of the first IBM PC, going on to work for Banks, financial and Blue chip companies, building datacentres, setting up complex hardware Clusters, and even nation-to-nation data and systems migrations.
If it is Information Technology or computing, then I have seen or done it.
I really like the Raspberry Pi, Docker and Linux.
I give occasional talks. I predate Google π
I am the Community Manager at Linuxing In London.
I use to co-organise the London JavaScript Community.
I co-organise the Covent Garden Raspberry Pi Jam.
I am Brian Byrne, AKA BrianLinuxing
